Terracotta Tiles

Ever wanted a reclaimed Terracotta floor but couldn’t afford the price? Well, our Terracotta tiles will allow you to recreate that timeless look but at a fraction of the price. The most popular size that we sell is the 200x200x20mm tile which can be seen in deVOL’s Classic English Kitchen Showroom here at Cotes Mill. In order to recreate this look, a number of steps must be followed. Above shows the tiles in the first stages of being laid. The tiles at this stage have been coated with our Boiled Linseed Oil. Now, to follow, you can either coat the tiles in a Clear Wax or an Antiqued Wax before the grout is applied. The clear beeswax will keep the tiles looking quite orange whereas the antique beeswax will give the tiles a darker, more authentic appearance. Below is an example of a floor post installation where the antique beeswax has been used.
