Autumn is here!
25th October 2016
Autumn is probably one of my favourite seasons, I love seeing the trees change to crispy orange, yellow and brown colours and watching them lose their leaves.
I think back to when I was younger and remember running through the fallen leaves; carving a scary pumpkin for Halloween and picking conkers with my brothers, all wrapped up in our hats and scarves, while our Mum was waiting for us back home with a warm mug of hot chocolate…. Yuuummmmm!
Now that the nights are drawing in and the temperature is dropping, I thought I would share a few Autumn must haves to help you embrace the next few cosy months.
The White Company’s Autumn candle £20 – This candle makes your home smell SO good and has a very comforting aroma. It has a crisp combination of fruity notes of pear, quince and apricot blended with musk and amber (don’t worry I don’t really know what that means either but trust me it smells good!)
Quil Robin tea light holder £12 – from Liberty of London, what screams autumn/winter more than a little robin and with a tea light? (It also comes in a hare which is also very cute).
John Hanly Throw £145 – This is also from Liberty of London, the blue, green and brown tones are lush! It adds a little bit of warmth to your living room or bedroom, allowing you to snuggle up on one of the colder Autumn days with a warm hot chocolate.
Chocolat Charbonnel Luxury hot chocolate £4.72 – by Chardonnel et Walker you can pick it up at supermarkets like Waitrose, it’s the tastiest hot chocolate EVER (in my opinion)! If you haven’t already tried it you should definitely give it a go, I’m pretty sure you will always have a tin in your cupboard from then on.
deVOL Handmade Ceramic Mug £20-£22- from deVOL’s new kitchenware range made by the lovely Claire, one of deVOL’s very talented ceramicists at Cotes Mill in Leicestershire. They are so beautiful to hold and to look at, the perfect mug for your hot drink, whatever it may be! You can buy them here and checkout the full range of deVOL kitchenware.
Floors of Stone Handmade Ceramic Tiles £6-£10 per tile – The tiles are made by Hannah here at Cotes Mill, obviously the main purpose of these tiles is for walls and splashbacks however they make the perfect little coaster for you teapot, drink or even just as a pretty ornament for your shelf or dresser! The truly are very beautiful and unique, you can buy them here on the Floors of Stone website.
I hope you have enjoyed my top 6 Autumn must haves!
