Terracotta Fixing & Sealing - Pale Terracotta – Natural Method

1. Fix tiles into flexible floor tile adhesive. We recommend a grout width of at least 8mm.  To replicate the images on our website, the tiles should be laid rough side up.
2. Once adhesive has set, clean the surface of the tile using a solution of FOS Intensive Cleaner. Apply and gently scrub the surface using a white emulsifying pad. Wipe up any released residues using a sponge and rinse with water. Leave to dry overnight before starting the sealing process. Sealing and waxing protection should be completed before grouting.     
3. Apply a generous coat of FOS Natural Stone Sealer with a paintbrush, spreading the sealant out evenly as you go. 
4. Leave for a minimum of 2 hours and then apply a second coat of FOS Natural Stone Sealer to the tiles.    
5. Leave final coat to dry overnight. 
6. Grout the joints and sponge off any residue leftover.  To replicate the images on our website, we recommend our Jasmine coloured grout.
7. After 30 minutes, dust off any residual grout from the surface and then leave to dry for a couple of hours.     
8. Once the grout has firmed off apply a coat of FOS Ironwax Satin to the surface.     
9. For best results maintain tiles with FOS Aftercare Cleaner.
