Pale Terracotta Installation Guide
Terracotta Fixing & Sealing - Pale Terracotta – Natural Method
- Fix tiles into flexible floor tile adhesive. We recommend a grout width of at least 8mm. To replicate the images on our website, the tiles should be laid rough side up.
- Once adhesive has set, clean the surface of the tile using a solution of FOS Intensive Cleaner. Apply and gently scrub the surface using a white emulsifying pad. Wipe up any released residues using a sponge and rinse with water. Leave to dry overnight before starting the sealing process. Sealing and waxing protection should be completed before grouting.
- Apply a generous coat of FOS Natural Stone Sealer with a paintbrush, spreading the sealant out evenly as you go.
- Leave for a minimum of 2 hours and then apply a second coat of FOS Natural Stone Sealer to the tiles.
- Leave final coat to dry overnight.
- Grout the joints and sponge off any residue leftover. To replicate the images on our website, we recommend our Jasmine coloured grout.
- After 30 minutes, dust off any residual grout from the surface and then leave to dry for a couple of hours.
- Once the grout has firmed off apply a coat of FOS Ironwax Satin to the surface.
- For best results maintain tiles with FOS Aftercare Cleaner.
